The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), International Labour Organization (ILO) and Education International released a joint message about World Teachers’ Day on 5 October, the international World Teachers’ Day for 2009.
