Pickering Brook Primary School
Three classes from Pickering Brook Primary entered the competition, winning the school a library pack from Scholastic. Here is an imaginative entry from Year 5 Ciara O’Meagher about her teacher Mr Denholm.

Read it! Read it! Read all about it!
A year five teacher at Pickering Brook Primary School has been voted the best teacher ever!! Mr Denholm has just started teaching the year five class full time and the class has already voted him the most fantastic fun teacher ever!! Most students have attitudes and unique personalities and Mr Denholm always considers them in all lessons and activities.

I spoke to one of the students, Jacob Marshall, and he had not the best Comment on this awesome teacher. “Well, I mean, he is good but not the best. Kind of like milk but not exactly a milkshake.” Other students disagreed and one of the other students Alex Rimmer gave a totally different comment. “He is fun, great and brilliant.”

Right now Mr Denholm is the happiest teacher and owes it all to the year five class.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Hilton
This school entered a whopping six different classes from all ages into the competition, winning their school a library prize pack from Scholastic. Here’s an entry from Year 5 Alana Cromarty about her teacher Mrs Konle.

If I had to vote for any teacher in the world it would be Mrs Konle, not only because shes the best teacher I've known but also because shes a kind, caring,co-operative and helpful person. Mrs Konle encourages us to try our hardest in all subjects. She has eyes on the back of her head, so keep your eyes on your work. Mrs Konle punishes for the right reasons, but no matter what, no other teacher can beat her.

Kununurra District High School
Despite the name, this school's students range in age from pre-primary to high school. The pre-primary and year 1 students from Kununurra sent plenty of fun and colourful entries. Here is an entry from pre-primary student Michaela Espie about her teacher Miss Sara Smith.

Year 2 class, St Pius X School.
This class produced a number of lovely entries and have won a Scholastic library pack for their school and a double pass to 'Les Ballets Trockaderos' for their teacher. Here is an entry from Jasmine Eddyanto celebrating Miss Messer.

South Ballajura Year 6 and Ed Support classes.
This school’s creative entries earned them a Scholastic library pack. Here, Year 6 student Deema Alardah dedicates a poem to Mr Paul Cooke.
