Application for Mutual Recognition (PDF)
For those applying for Western Australian College of Teaching membership as either a Provisionally Registered Teacher (PRT) or Registered Teacher (RT) under Mutual Recognition principles.

Application for Limited Authority to Teach (LAT) and the Renewal of a Current LAT (PDF)
The College may grant a Limited Authority to Teach (LAT) to permit a school that has been unable to fill a vacancy with a Registered Teacher (RT) or Provisionally Registered Teacher (PRT) to employ a person who is not properly qualified as a teacher for a period of up to two years. The applicant will have the required specialist knowledge, training, skills or qualifications, be proficient in the English Language and have completed a College criminal record check.
For those applying for a Limited Authority to Teach (LAT) for the purpose of relief teaching. Relief LATs can only be granted to teachers who have completed a recognised three-year preservice teacher education program in early childhood, primary, middle or secondary education, are proficient in the English Language and have completed a College criminal record check.

Application for Associate Membership (PDF)
This booklet contains the application form for those who would like to be an Associate member of the Western Australian College of Teaching. An Associate member is a teacher or educator who has a teaching qualification, or who has made a significant contribution to education, but does not wish to become a Registered Teacher. An Associate member is not eligible to teach in a Western Australian School.
