Fees for new members

New members, or those returning to the College after a lapse in membership, pay a non-refundable $20 application fee. Additional fees are then determined by the category of membership sought.

Provisionally registered teachers pay a $50 registration fee, $33 for a Criminal Record Check (if a current police clearance is not provided) and a $70 annual membership fee. This brings the total payment for a provisionally registered teacher to $173.

Registered teachers pay a $70 registration fee, $33 for a Criminal Record Check (if the applicant does not have a current police clearance) and a $70 annual membership fee. This brings the total for a registered teacher to $193.

Applicants seeking a limited authority to teach pay a $50 registration fee, $33 for a Criminal Record Check (if a current police clearance is not provided) and a $70 annual membership fee. This brings the total for a new member seeking a limited authority to teach to $173.

Associate membership of the College is available for those not currently teaching in the classroom. Those seeking membership under this category pay $33 for a Criminal Record Check (if a current police clearance is not provided) and a $20 annual membership fee.

Fees for current members

All provisionally registered and registered members pay a $70 annual fee to remain members of the Western Australian College of Teaching. Payment is due each year on March 31, and may be paid up to five years in advance. The fee is tax deductable.
